terms and conditions

1. Introduction

  • The Cedars for Innovation Hackathon (hereinafter referred to as "the Hackathon") is organized by [Organizer's Name]. By participating in the Hackathon, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

4. Project Requirements

  • Projects must be the original work of the participants and must not infringe on any third-party rights.

  • Projects must adhere to the theme and guidelines provided by the Organizer.

  • Projects must be submitted by the specified deadline to be considered for judging.

  • Main Topics: Participants are encouraged to focus on the following key areas:

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI): Innovate with AI-driven solutions that can transform industries.

    • EdTech: Create educational technology solutions that enhance learning experiences.

    • Healthcare: Develop health-related technologies to improve patient care and medical services.

    • Green Tech: Propose sustainable solutions to address environmental challenges.

    • Cybersecurity: Design robust security measures to protect data and systems.

5. Judging Criteria

  • Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:

    • Innovation: The originality and creativity of the project.

    • Feasibility: The practicality and potential for implementation of the project.

    • Impact: The potential positive impact on the target audience or industry.

    • Technical Complexity: The technical difficulty and sophistication of the project.

    • Presentation: The clarity and effectiveness of the project's presentation.

    • Relevance to Themes: How well the project addresses one of the main topics (AI, EdTech, Healthcare, Green Tech, Cybersecurity).

    • Collaboration: The extent of teamwork and collaborative efforts demonstrated.

  • The decisions of the judges are final and binding.

  • The organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any entry based on the principles and guidelines of the Hackathon.






6. Prizes

  • Prizes will be awarded to the top projects as determined by the judges. The prize structure will be announced on the official Hackathon website.

  • Prizes include:

    • Free Mentorship: Winners will receive free mentorship and guidance from industry experts for one month.

    • Incubation: Access to incubation services for one month to help develop and scale their projects.

    • Crowdfunding Platforms: Entry to crowdfunding platforms through the organizers' network to seek additional funding and support.

    • Publicity: The winning projects will be publicized on the organizers' platforms, providing visibility and recognition.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Participants retain ownership of their projects. However, by participating in the Hackathon, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the projects.

  • Participants also agree to allow the organizers to present and showcase their work on the organizers' online platforms and social media channels.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

9. Liability and Indemnification

  • The Organizer is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in the Hackathon.

  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of their participation in the Hackathon.

10. Privacy
